The event takes place on March 8-11, 2022, in Johannesburg.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — ROTOCON is a returning exhibitor at Propak Africa 2022, Africa's leading packaging, plastic, food processing, labelling & print exhibition. The four-day event takes place on March 8-11 in Johannesburg and is ROTOCON’s third time exhibiting at the triennial event.

Featured on ROTOCON’s stand B20 in hall 5 will be live demonstrations of the ECOLINE RSH machine for label inspection, slitting, and rewinding and the RDF 340 digital printed label converting and finishing machine. Also presented from the ECOLINE portfolio will be the Pro Mount plate mounter and the Pro Clean anilox roller cleaner.

ROTOCON will also present to show visitors solutions from its 14 represented brands which include Cheshire Anilox Technology, Domino, DuPont, Erhardt+Leimer, Kocher+Beck, MPS, Pantec GS Systems (representatives will be present at the stand), Phoseon Technology, Rheintacho, Rosas Maschinenbau, ROTOCONTROL, Screen, UV Ray, and Wink. This represents the entire gamut of production technology—from prepress to printing, via digital and analogue technologies, to all manner of ancillary and finishing systems.

“We are pleased to be back at Propak Africa and to welcome label printers and converters to our stand, to learn more about their printing environment and how we can assist,” said Michael Aengenvoort, ROTOCON group CEO. The range of ROTOCON’s ECOLINE (economy line) of finishing equipment is specifically developed with a compact footprint, easy-to-use control panel and open machine design to ensure a user-friendly operator experience. A modem for remote fault finding and maintenance allows ROTOCON’s technicians to respond quickly to operators’ software and drive-related queries.

“At Propak Africa 2016, we introduced our first ECOLINE slitter rewinder, and brought an RDF 330 digital label converting machine to the 2019 edition,” said Aengenvoort. “With over 100 ECOLINE machines sold, delivering world-class customer service with unrelenting commitment to quality and innovation is our promise to every customer. “Our quest is to be the number one supplier of printing and converting equipment and consumables in South Africa’s labelling and narrow-web sector.” Registration for Propak Africa is free.
