The concept’s powertrain and specs stay the same as the regular Veloster N. Under the hood, a 2.0-liter direct-injected puts out 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, with an available performance package that cranks horsepower up to 275. There’s also a six-speed manual transmission with downshift rev-matching, a multi-mode electronically controlled suspension, and an available torque-vectoring limited-slip differential.

The Hyundai Veloster N Performance Concept won’t be the only customized Veloster in Las Vegas next month. Also coming to SEMA is the Veloster Grappler, a concept that turns the three-door hatchback into an intimidating off-road machine.
