Taipei, November 11 (CNA) Evergreen Airlines began selling tags made from retired Evergreen 747 aircraft on Thursday, with limited inventory in Taiwan.

These tags were made by the German Aviationtag company using the outer skin of a Boeing 747-400 wide-body airliner, which was retired from EVA Air's fleet in August 2017.

Aviationtag specializes in recycling retired aircraft parts into unique collections. The EVA Airline tag is one of the latest products in the company's aircraft souvenir series.

According to Evergreen Airlines, Aviationtag successfully acquired some retired aircraft and decided to establish a licensing partnership with the original owner of the aircraft.

With its simple design, the collection tag is a versatile item that can be used as a unique bag or luggage tag, or key chain.

The airline pointed out that although Aviationtag used its purchased aircraft parts to produce 15,000 aircraft skin tags, there are only about 2,000 in Taiwan. It urges collectors, fans, and aircraft enthusiasts to seize the opportunity to own a part of the aircraft, which will be delivered as soon as stocks last. end.

EVA Air said that each label has a serial number and retains the original paint of the aircraft skin and the signs of wear during many years of service.

The registration number of this aircraft is B-16411. It served in the fleet of EVA Air for 19 years before being decommissioned and dismantled at San Bernardino International Airport in California, USA in June 2020.

The label comes in white, green and orange. This is the color of the EVA Air logo. Orange is the rarest because it covers the smallest surface area of the aircraft.

EVA Air said that the first batch of labels sold on the company's website at noon on Thursday will be white, with a retail price of NT$1,140 (US$40.95). The other two colors will be released later.
