MES planning and scheduling: how to optimize processes without compromising quality

Innovia Films' RayoFace QB provides customers with a bright white uncoated and cavitation biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) base film designed specifically for pressure sensitive label applications, including food contact.

Rayoface QB has a bright white surface because it reports an opacity of 91%. The company added that the label is compatible with a range of topcoats and PSL adhesives.

According to the company, the five-layer technology of the Innovia Films Polish production line provides customers with high standards of performance and output. It is said that QB can be manufactured and transported in a large vertical roll of 16,300 meters to help increase efficiency and reduce changeover time.

The film is currently available in two thicknesses of 57 and 40 microns, with a coating-receiving surface on one side, allowing customers to add a topcoat.

Innovia stated that QB is applicable to a range of market segments, including household and personal care, food and beverage, and other consumer goods industries. Its apparnelty also has EU food contact compliance.

In addition, the company claims that the film performed well in in-depth trials and achieved "excellent" results throughout the pressure-sensitive label supply chain.

RayoFace QB can now be purchased from Innovia.

Last year, Invoia released what it claimed was the world's first carbon-neutral BOPP label film based on the principle of mass balance and certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC Plus) program. The company also offers Rayoface mBoss, a 130-micron film designed to provide customers with long-lasting, high-quality embossing performance.
