We are happy to announce that Felix Böttcher has joined FTA Europe as our first associate member! We look forward to great cooperation!

This global supplier joined FTA Europe as an associate member in September 2021. This makes them the first associate members to join FTA Europe.

Felix Böttcher is a leading international supplier to the printing industry for several generations and currently has approximately 2,000 employees worldwide. Founded in 1725, this traditional company is the global market leader in providing sleeves, rollers and consumable covers for many well-known machine manufacturers, involving offset, digital, gravure or flexographic printing processes.

Felix Böttcher sees that the flexo printing industry continues to evolve as it continues to evolve. This includes not only printing presses, but also all materials involved, including substrates, inks, anilox rolls, and printing plates based on photopolymers or elastomers. Due to this development, packaging products produced using flexo printing are now considered to be true competitors of offset printing and rotogravure printing. This growth is also evident in other continents. Nonetheless, Europe is often a leader in the technology of the future. Felix Böttcher believes that our industry will pay more attention to sustainability issues, just like all companies active in the packaging sector. These developments require trust and cooperation between different companies focusing on the different components of the flexographic printing unit.
