The first live broadcast and Q&A were held last month, discussing all issues of branding and visual identity. Now, the second part of the series will tell viewers everything they need to know about record companies.

Ella Jefferies of Bonsai Records and Tom Larnach-Jones of former Milk! Record company managers are the guests of the live broadcast, providing their expertise in running record companies.

Larnach-Jones started working at Shock Records in the 90s and has extensive experience in Australian record companies. He co-founded ARIA's award-winning record label Trifekta Records, and until recently was the record company manager of Milk!

He is also the booker of Melbourne's iconic venues, such as The Gasometer, The Croxton and Revolver Upstairs, and has managed local artists Art of Fighting and June Jones. He currently works with international and local record companies at Sound Merch.

Jefferies is the founder of Bonsai Records, a community-based inclusive record company that celebrates DIY artists. The brand was established in 2019 to create better opportunities for budding musicians.

Bonsai Records is based on a farm in Wathaurong Village, Warrington, with sister recording studios and in-house screen printing machines. Their current artists include Pollyman, Bones and Jones and Sirens.

Amped Up proudly supports local young creators and music fans through inclusive performances and digital content for all ages. They have worked with bands such as Jeff Rosenstock, Northlane, Ocean Grove and In Hearts Wake.

milk! Records is an independent Melbourne record company. Founded in 2012 by Jen Cloher and Courtney Barnett, they represent artists such as Liz Stringer, Hand Habits and Hachiku.
