Zero proof of non-alcoholic spiritual rituals provides options for mindful consumption this holiday season

Chicago, November 16, 2021/PRNewswire/-In the coming weeks, as family, friends and colleagues celebrate the holidays, tables will be set up, wine glasses will be placed, and food will be abundant. But between the mung bean casserole and the stupid sweater, it is an awkward and inappropriate moment, accompanied by rolling eyes, "oh my goodness" or severe headaches.

A new survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of "ceremonial zero proof" shows that three-fifths of people are afraid of attending holiday family gatherings, and nearly half think that gatherings always end in tears. Interestingly, 58% of people agree that their family members drink too much in these activities, and 48% of respondents admitted that they drink more at family holiday parties throughout the year than other social events.

"This year's holiday party will be even more highly anticipated because many of us will not be able to meet in person in 2020." said Marcus Sakey, founding partner of Ritual Zero Proof. "As more and more people seek healthier alternatives, we hope you will provide quality choices to all guests. If you know that your aunt is vegetarian or your nephew does not eat gluten, you will They offer a choice, and Ritual works the same way."

More than just family gatherings, alcohol may have a negative impact on the experience. Almost seven in ten respondents believe that too much alcohol is provided at holiday office gatherings, and 74% said they deliberately limit their alcohol intake during these activities.

"Spiritual substitutes are like secret weapons at holiday parties," Saki added. "You can make conscious decisions about drinking and enjoy the experience of exquisite cocktails without unnecessary problems caused by choosing to drink less or not at all."

Nearly half (47%) of the respondents expressed their desire to increase balance in this year's holiday menu, which indicates that they want to reduce their alcohol consumption. Other findings include:
